New album The Rip Tide due out at the end of August. These guys always have fantastic instrumentals. I’m really excited for it.
Cam’ron - Hey Ma (ft. Juelz Santana)
I cruise around to this song in the summer. It’s old and I heard it for the first time in a while off of Tyler the Creator’s summer camp mix, but it still carries some sentimental value. Junior high. Young love! All I can say about that.

Currently, there are about 3 songs floating around by these guys from Reykjavík, Iceland. They’re style of music has been described as “þjóðlagapopp séð með nýbylgjugleraugum” All the songs so far are posted on their Facebook page. I like all of them.
Rolling in the Deep (Sodhivine Remix) - Adele
I know this song is pretty much beat to death at this point BUT this is a remix done by a guy I actually know. He’s just finishing high school and clearly, he’s very talented. He turned this song into an awesome dance song. Also, he has a kickass turban.
Tonight’s the Kind of Night (RAC Remix) - Noah And the Whale
Also a song that turned into a song with a danceable beat. I think I understand what a remix is right?
Trouble On My Mind (Ft. Tyler The Creator) - Pusha T
I’m afraid to blog about Tyler the Creator. He hates bloggers. I am a HUGE fan of his music however, and I don’t give a shit. He’s just a kid who is living his dream, making music with people that he idolizes. Who can say that about themselves? He’s incredibly humbled and the shows for OFWGKTA are insane. They make “40 year olds rapping about Gucci” look downright stupid. This song is tight. Only rapper I know who references The Rugrats.
