Music Monday : Deadmau5 - Raise Your Weapon (Feat. Greta Svabo Bech)
It sounds like Deadmau5 has ventured into the world of dubstep. Whether it is a great success, totally depends on you. Personally, I like it. He’s trying to get with the times and what’s popular now, and dubstep is really booming now, in every sense of the word. To me, the mau5 never been an innovator as much as he is an improver. He hasn’t really broken ground on musical styles but he has taken what is good and made it better. Even he himself sees himself constantly in the shadows of guys like Armin Van Buuren and the like, even though Deadmau5 is now a huge name in the industry. Something that is a good motivational tool for him I guess. It works for me. I really dig his sound.
