As Easy as Shooting Fish in a Barrel
It really matters what fish and what kind of gun you’re using, doesn’t it? Shooting a catfish with a shotgun would be pretty easy. Shooting goldfish with a BB gun would be damn near impossible however.

Batman
Wow. Just saw The Dark Knight last night in the Imax. It was really, really good. If you’re going to see it, go see it in the Imax. There’s a couple of scenes (including all the action sequences!) that were filmed with Imax cameras that were just amazing to watch on a huge screen.  There were a few scenic shots of Gotham, and I think Beijing, that were so breathtaking, it made me feel...

The days of booing Bertuzzi are over
Today, Monday July 7, 2008, the Flames signed power forward Todd Bertuzzi. I have a theory about this signing. I think that out of all hockey fans, next to the fans of the Colorado Avalanche, Flames fans boo Todd Bertuzzi the hardest. I don’t think Vancouver fans boo him at all, despite him leaving the team a couple of years back. They love that guy like the bad guys in The Goonies loved Sloth....

Parades
The Calgary Stampede is in full swing, and every year it opens with the illustrious Stampede Parade. I don’t think I’ve been to the parade in over 10 years and here’s why: I really don’t get it. What is a parade? It’s a group of people who dress up in costumes and march or drive cars really slowly down a closed road, waving. Why are they waving at me? And why am I so compelled to wave back? ...
