All 90s music! No boy bands. This is the quintessential 90s music primer for when we figure out how to thaw out cavemen and want to make them awesome. Jam packed with 100 songs from the most awkward decade, although some straddle the line from ‘89 and 2000 because they still exude the 90s feel. Enjoy!
Tell me if I missed anything, because I’m sure I did.

Ok, this week I have some new songs from some albums released recently, and some other ones from bands that I’m seeing soon! I am so excited to finally see Cage The Elephant and one of my favorite bands growing up, the Foo Fighters. Wilco, M83, Real Eastate and Coldplay have some really great new albums. Check them out.
Happy late (Canadian) Thanksgiving! In my head, Canadian Thanksgiving is the story of the Canadian version of Christopher Columbus, Jacques Cartier, force-feeding pumpkin pie to a turkey while native Canadians thank him for helping them harvest yams. Classic. I am thankful this year for my excellent memory for Canadian history.
I’m experimenting with HTML5 audio tags so check that out in the near future. I honestly don’t know what I’m doing. Check out the songs below!
From their new album Audio,Video,Disco due out very soon. Doesn’t really sound like Justice, but they were trying out 70s style Rock for this album. I like it.
I have a whopping 11 songs today. Ok, 11 isn’t really a lot but I’ve always wanted to use the word ‘whopping’ but never understood it’s use as an adjective. Someone please explain it to me.
Anyways, here are some songs that have been on repeat recently. I’m a big fan of all the artists. Girls and St. Vincent have released incredible new albums which you should definitely check out if you like what you hear.
Alex Turner of The Arctic Monkeys and The Last Shadow Puppets released an EP for a movie called Submarine a few months back and I’m still in love with it.
The Ratatat remix is super old, so is the Arctic Monkeys song, but I got to see them live this week. I almost punched someone in the throat because it was so awesome.
I also am into covers of rap and RnB songs done by alternative artists.
I posted this playlist to 8track.com which is a neat little website and app that let’s you listen to user submitted playlists. Link right here peep that shit.
